Drew Mayberry

Founder BODY Pilates & Wellness

Drew Mayberry is the founder of BODY Pilates & Wellness, a private, referral-only studio in London redefining the modern approach to movement.

Originally based in NYC, Drew’s clients range from super models to CEOs, fashion editors and international influencers, socialites to local tastemakers. Known for her hyper-personalized approach and athletic, sculpting method, Drew and BODY have become the most in-demand, exclusive pilates in London for a reason — the product and instruction is top tier, the clientele is discreet and notable, and the brand ethos is both aspiration and balanced.

BODY believes in a simple, consistent approach to health and wellness: Eat Well. Move Often. Live Balanced.

Q: What inspired you to launch BODY Pilates as a more private, referral-only space?

BODY was born from my desire to create a space I personally wanted in the industry — one rooted in the principles of luxury, community, and a results-driven approach. I opened the BODY Pilates & Wellness studio in Notting Hill in May 2025 with only three reformers and towers. The studio is intentionally intimate — with only 3 clients at any point, affording each client the attention and dedication they deserve. Being a referral-only studio, new clients come to me via current students, creating a lovely, tight-knit community. This is what I am most proud of — the amazing women and men that I get to work with. Like the clientele and offering, the equipment is top of the line. The Merrithew V2 Max reformers and towers are known as the Rolls Royce of the pilates world — the top of luxury and comfort. Similarly, the studio aesthetic exudes a sophisticated, intimate vibe, like being in a chic friend’s English flat. The instruction, the experience, and the physical space all lends itself to curating a hyper-personalized, discreet, and luxury experience for my clients. The goal of BODY is simple — to support my clients in achieving their wellness and fitness goals, in and out of the studio. The heart of BODY is always my clients, and helping them to be and feel stronger and healthier.

Q: How would you describe your signature approach to Pilates?

I always describe my method as athletic contemporary pilates. I trained in both classical and contemporary pilates, so infuse these into my practice. Sessions are a mixture of lengthening and strength based work — the push and the pull. We focus on form and intentionality — not just how, but also why we are practicing the moves. I want clients to leave with a better sense of self and strength after each session.

Q: What makes the experience at BODY Pilates feel so personal and unique?

BODY is more than just a studio, I like to think of it more as a membership. I invest in each client and curate programming specifically for their individual goals and needs, even in a small group setting. The studio is intimate with only 3 clients max in each session, so I can cater to each of their goals and needs. Every client is given my personal number and can text at any time with questions or requests. I also work with client’s personal trainers, physio’s, and other specialists to collaborate on a wellness plan to meet their goals. Care for clients extends beyond the studio. This is what makes BODY so luxury — holistic care, intentional programming, intimate setting, and quality instruction.

Q: What does your ideal morning routine look like?

No surprise here but I am a huge morning person. I usually wake up around 5:30 or 6am — which is so much more enjoyable as we head into spring — and start with an electrolyte water and matcha latte. I have scrambled eggs and sourdough with a sprinkle of Bragg Nutritional Yeast every morning. I get my eggs and bread from the Notting Hill farmers market every Saturday and swear you can taste the difference. While eating breakfast, I look through my list of clients for the day and write out what I want to work on in each session. Then I walk through our communal garden to the studio for my 7am — I usually can spot a few foxes and it’s the prettiest commute!

Q: What are your current skincase essentials?

La Roche Posay Pure Vitamin C Serum, Agent Nateur Ageless Face Serum, Bonjout Beauty Le Balm, Dr Sturm Glow Cream (everyone always compliments me when I use this), Mimetique Skin Restore, Obagi Nu-Derm Sunscreen. And I do a Biologique Researche face mask once or twice a week as well as Dr Sturm Eye Patches when I need a little refresh.

Q: Do you take any specific supplements as part of your routine?

I try to get my nutrients through a balanced diet but everyone has heard me rave about Spacegoods Astro Dust. It is a magnesium hot chocolate that I make every evening with hazelnut milk. It is the perfect wind down and keeps me asleep all night.

Q: Coffee or matcha, and how do you take it?

I am not a big coffee girl. I love a matcha latte with hazelnut or almond milk.

Q: What are your everyday wellness non-negotiables?

Plenty of water, some greens, walking and being in the sun (a rarity in London), and sleep, sleep, sleep. Getting 7-8 hours of quality sleep is my absolute non-negotiable. It makes the biggest difference in seeing results and feeling your best.

Q: What’s one wellness secret you almost want to gatekeep?

It’s not a very exciting idea — but there is no ‘one’ fix. Health and wellness is cumulative. It is what you consume, how you move, and how you care for your body. Eat well, move often, slow down, and find balance. Do the things that are good for the body and soul — spending your afternoon laughing over some wine with your best friends is just as important as your morning pilates class. Health shouldn’t be so rigid and serious. A life well lived also means a life enjoyed.
